What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first appointment, I really want to get to know you. We will also dive into your goals for us working together and talk about what is important to you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My education and training and working in mental health for the last 17 years, helps me give those I work with a unique perspective on the relationship between their mind and body, mental and physical health, and the significant impact of life experiences, trauma, and lifestyle on well-being and relationships.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on unconscious processes as they are manifested in present behavior. The goals of psychodynamic therapy are self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior. My graduate program was a psychodynamic program.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP therapy is a behavioral therapy that gradually exposes people to situations designed to provoke a person's obsessions in a safe environment. I have post graduate training in ERP, Habit-Reversal Training, and Prolonged Exposure.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a therapy technique that aims to help find new ways to respond and feel by changing thought patterns. CBT rests on the assumption that the way people think and interpret life events affects how they respond and feel. I have post graduate training in CBT.
