New clients continue care with this provider

I work with clients on issues surrounding anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQIA+, gender identity and expression, family dynamics, relationship issues, self-discovery, and career exploration. I approach the therapeutic relationship creating a non-judgmental space where you can share and learn more about yourself and your motivations. I will help you look at your assumptions, patterns, behaviors that work for you or aren’t working for you to achieve your goals in therapy. Mindfulness and present moment awareness is incorporated into moving forward as we work together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will want to know more about your background, understand what brings you to therapy, and work on a plan together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My therapeutic style and approach draw from a variety of therapeutic theories including client centered, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, solution focused and reality therapy. I want to meet you where you are, and together we will find the approach that works best for you. Whatever brought you here, let us work together to get you to the next steps along your journey. I look forward to meeting you and working with you, starting where you are and moving forward together.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I help clients who want to understand more about their actions, decisions, and behaviors, so they break old patterns and learn new ways to appreciate themselves, the life they are creating.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Therapy will focus unhelpful or unhealthy ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. CBT uses practical self-help strategies. These are designed to immediately improve your quality of life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is awareness of one’s internal states and surroundings. Mindfulness can help people avoid destructive or automatic habits and responses by learning to observe their thoughts, emotions, and other present-moment experiences without judging or reacting to them.
