Hello, I am Felicia and as a therapist, I endeavor to create a space to allow self-awareness, true healing and personal growth to happen. We all have different life experiences and sometimes figuring out how to deal and cope with those experiences is challenging and requires a little help. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, chronic stress, trauma, struggling with relationships or a life transition, change is possible. Through our work together I want to help you meet your goals as you take this journey to feel better. I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome hurdles in your life. I view therapy as a safe space for processing life experiences, emotions, thoughts, and trauma to achieve one’s goals and necessary growth. My goal as a therapist is to collaborate with you to understand your thought processes, address barriers to wellness, and identify ways in which you can achieve your goals. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives; however, sometimes need an outside perspective to help re-frame our thinking. Asking for help isn't easy and you are not alone! What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After your first session, I tend to give homework to facilitate healing outside our session. I strive to concentrate on the present, focus on the future, and explore the past, to understand current behaviors and coping. I create a safe place where clients can focus on their goals and acquire more coping tools to adjust to life changes.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Using Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused and Trauma-focused approaches, I will help you process your emotions, thoughts, and experiences that prevent you from functioning at your best. I will help you to analyze your life experiences and develop skills that will allow you to cope and better address the challenges that life brings.

I meet clients where they are, helping identify their goals and supporting them in reaching these goals. I am a collaborative therapist and enjoy creating a safe, compassionate space for my clients to heal.
