As a clinician, I have come to recognize that the most crucial aspect of counseling is the establishment of a strong connection and a sense of comfort between the therapist and the individual seeking support. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for those I assist. Most recently, I completed a 2-year program in advanced spiritual psychology, which has enriched the depth of my therapeutic abilities. Throughout my career, I have provided counseling for a wide range of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma, abuse, addictions, relationship challenges and parenting issues. By combining my expertise, experience, and compassionate nature, I am dedicated to supporting you in your journey toward healing and personal growth. Together, we can work towards creating a more peaceful, joyful and fulfilling life for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, my primary goal is to establish a foundation for a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship. The initial meeting serves as an opportunity for us to get to know each other, for me to gather relevant information, and for you to begin expressing your concerns and goals.

I am committed to helping people revise their stories and become the authors of the next chapter of their lives which can have a profound impact on their well-being and happiness. I offer a soft place to land in what can be a confusing world. I'll invite you to slow down, tune in, and explore your quieter and wiser self. It is human to struggle because let's face it--life is tough. Feeling overwhelmed, trapped, fearful, angry, and sad is a part of life and the result of living in a fast-paced, stressful environment. My greatest hope through our work together is for you to know you are whole and worthy of love and you recognize the amazing person you are!

In my practice, I employ Mindfulness-Based Therapy as a foundational approach to assist my clients on their journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being. I integrate mindfulness techniques into therapeutic sessions to guide clients in developing a heightened awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. By fostering a non-judgmental and compassionate awareness of the present moment, clients can explore and understand the underlying patterns of their thoughts and reactions.
