Welcome! I'm Amy Mester, LCSW. You have taken one of the hardest things to do: ask for help via counseling. That shows that you are already demonstrating that you are capable of change. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. First session
You will get to know me and have the freedom to ask your questions. I provide a safe zone. I will want to know about you, and start to work together to establish the goals that you would like to achieve.
Strengths
I want to hear what you have to say! I have worked very hard for the past 15 years, I've developed a counseling method that is based on your individual goals. I like to helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Treatment methods
Eclectic
Eclectic therapy is a form of psychotherapy that adapts to the unique needs of each patient, depending on the problem, the treatment goals, and the person's expectations and motivation. I pick and choose which methods to use based on the person's individual needs. I do not stick to just one approach, all of the time.
