Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) based out of Morehead City, North Carolina. I have my Masters in Counseling from East Carolina University and have been working in this area for the past 13 years. I have mostly been working with adolescent and young adults during this time, but can work with any aged client that is ready to begin their counseling journey.

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

My greatest strength is my ability to listen to each client and really get to the root of where they are and where they would like to be.

My treatment methods

Integrative

The integrative approach to therapy combines several different modalities for clients to help them start where they are and work towards a path to becoming their best selves. I use this most because each individual client is different and each client has a different presenting reason for seeking out therapy. Some things I commonly use include, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused brief therapy. That isn't an exhaustive list, but just a starting point on the therapeutic journey.
