Hello there. My name is Jenny and I aim to help you alleviate that feeling of overload, stress, and feeling frozen in place. I know all too well the weight and pressure of trying to balance the impossible. The good news is that you don't have to anymore as you and I work together to tease out the tangled mess that is life. I have been working with children, adults, and older adults for the past twenty-four years as a social worker. I've had my clinical licensure for the past 18 years. My specialties include depression, anxiety, and grief/loss. My most recent work has been in hospice care for the past 13 years with older adults and families going through the death of a loved one.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I want to hear your story. I want to get to know you and together, identify the areas of concern and a plan of attack.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I embrace all ideas, beliefs, and cultures. I want to learn as much as I can about you to help you best. I do not judge or push any agenda on anyone. I support you where you are and what is important to you. I am a warm and friendly person with an enormous amount of empathy and compassion.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I will use a strengths-based approach to overcome your unique obstacles. Believe it or not, you already hold the power and ability to feel more complete and in control. I'm just here to help you find what you already own. We will find together what works uniquely for you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will also use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help identify patterns of thoughts and behaviors that create barriers to you achieving your best life.

Grief Therapy

I use grief therapy to help people through their grief journey, find new ways of coping, and settle into a new way of living.
