Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am so glad you are here. I don't want you to walk through this pain alone. I am a warm, Christian therapist who focuses on creating a space where you can share the painful parts of your story as well as feel supported through practical tools and new perspectives to move forward. I work with anxiety, relationship concerns, navigating breakups, building confidence, moving from insecure attachment to secure attachment, people-pleasing, setting boundaries, practicing self-care, letting go of perfectionism, healing shame, divorce, grief/loss, regulating emotions, improving communication, and building a healthy relationship with yourself and others. Feel free to reach out to see if I might be a good fit for you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will briefly go over paperwork, gather some basic information, and then we will focus on what brings you to therapy! We can identify your therapy goals, so that we can be on the same page and you can get the most out of our time together! In our ongoing sessions, I like to teach practical tools, check-in with what you want to focus on, make space to process difficult emotions, and give feedback and tools to help you move forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Whatever is hurting or aching must be tended to. Ignoring does not mend us. I create a space where we can tend to your heart and process painful emotions. I am passionate about sharing the many practical tools and perspectives that have helped me and so many of my clients work through struggles and build healthy relationships. If you are struggling, I would love to support you on this journey towards growth and healing!

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize many practical tools and strategies to help clients navigate difficult situations with more ease, find more peace in their lives, and build a healthy relationship with themselves and others.

Attachment-based

I help clients build a more secure attachment style and have a healthier sense of self with boundaries, assertiveness, and interdependence within relationships rather than codependency and people-pleasing.

Experiential Therapy

I strive to offer a safe space for clients to fully feel and express their emotions. Healing comes from being able to share our pain and tend to our difficult emotions and stories.

Narrative

I believe the stories we have about ourselves, others, and our relationships tend to keep us stuck and from living into our fullest potential.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I offer new thoughts and perspectives to help clients have more peace in their life and to build healthier ways of engaging with our emotions and responding to our circumstances.
