Hi there! Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I commend you on your courage to take the important steps towards healing. When anxiety or depression seem like dark clouds hovering over you, impact every area of life, or rob you of the peace and happiness you want to feel, know that you are not alone. My passion is helping clients heal from their hurt, reach their goals, and improve their quality of life. I also enjoy empowering trauma survivors to take back control in healthy ways and no longer feel defined or stuck by past trauma. For the past 14 years, it has been a joy supporting clients from all different backgrounds, cultures, and ages who've struggled with depression, anxiety, shame, fear-based thinking, anger, grief, and relationship/communication issues. I received my Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University and have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 8 years.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My hope is to create a supportive and welcoming space for you to discuss whatever you need to and feel heard. I encourage collaboration and feedback from my clients so I can be most helpful. In our first session together, we will have brief introductions and talk about the therapy process. My job is to help you build upon skills to achieve your goals in tangible ways and examine how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact mental health recovery.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients who I've worked with express that they appreciate my balance of being directive while welcoming feedback, having a sense of humor while holding space for deep conversations, and having empathy that makes them feel safe to open up. It would be an honor walking alongside you in your journey to healing, so when you're ready, it would be great to meet you!

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy supporting clients who are wanting to learn healthy boundaries, self-esteem, or communication skills that are oftentimes affected by painful relationships. I've helped clients build upon their coping skills for issues such as anxiety, depression/mood issues, and trauma and who are ready to take the brave steps towards progress. Additionally, I support Christian clients grow in their faith, identity, and life purpose upon request.
