I am a Licensed Marriage and family therapy for the state of Florida. I have been a practicing therapist for 4 years previous for nonprofit background focusing on prevention. I enjoy working with teens, adults, families and couples to process ongoing life concerns. I am passionate about being an advocate for you and help build confidence and self-esteem with your life and relationships.
Going into a space of the unknown and not knowing what to expect can be pretty scary. Let's chat about that together. I'd love to hear your story. In the first session, we will discuss consents to services, boundaries and expectations of counseling and what you are hoping to gain for our time together.
I bring a lot of warmth into the counseling room to facilitate openness to change and grow. We will talk about relationships, platonic, familial, and romantic; I invite you to bring relationships into the space. I am committed to empowering you to process whatever you have going on because what you are experiencing matters deeply to me.
We all have a narrative to share with the world; my goal is to help you by expressing some of that narrative. I am passionate about working with clients processing trauma, developing boundaries/ self-esteem and discussing relationships. I enjoy helping you talk about emotions and attachment, and I enjoy collaborating with my clients to unpack that and how that connects us to our stories we share.
Attachment is how we connect to our relationships and wanting to feel secure. We will discuss that together in session.
If you are coming in for couples counseling, we will discuss communication styles, boundaries, and expectations of your relationship together.
