Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCS) based in Texas. I received my Doctorate in Counselor Education from Sam Houston State University and have been practicing for about 15 years. In my practice, I prefer to use different interventions to help in the process of healing while focusing on individual choice. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we would start with introductions and confidentiality statements. Then, we would dive into the specific challenges you are facing and that made you seek help. My objective during my first session, is for the client to get to know me and for me to get a sense of the client's needs and begin creating a counseling plan to work.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that my personal and professional experience have help become a good listener to help clients identify the root causes of their challenges.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My goal is to help individuals, couples, or families find a path to live fulfilling lives and be content with themselves. I seek to help people overcome life’s challenges, overcome psychological or emotional difficulties, and ultimately heal.

My treatment methods

Existential

My work focuses on healing by finding purposeful relationships, meaningful work, love, and courage in the face of difficulty. I believe that while we do not control many of our circumstances or what might have happened to us, one still gets to choose his or her attitude and find purpose in life and in pain.
