Welcome! My name is Shannon Saltzman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of clinical social work experience and over 20 years in the field of social work, I specialize in treating adults and older adults. My approach I provide individual therapy to clients residing in the state of California. Treatment is comprised of a combination of evidence-based talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapies, and a solution-focused approach. As a therapist, I provide a warm, supportive, empathetic, non-judgemental, safe space for healing and recovery. I help clients move through whatever it is they may be struggling with and develop coping tools that they can continue to use beyond our time together.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
What you can expect during our first session together is to begin the process of getting to know one another. We will briefly discuss what brings you into therapy and what current stressors you are experiencing. We will discuss the limits of confidentiality and mandated reporting protocols.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
