Hi Everyone! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in New Jersey with a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). I hold an Undergraduate degree in community health with a Masters degree in Professional Counseling. Throughout my decade + career in the field, I have experienced and come to understand a variety of unique circumstances & settings with a diverse population needs among my clientele; including with children, adolescents/teens, adults, and families. My goal is to help my clients not only feel like the most fabulous version of themselves, but to understand that they deserve it as well.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will focus on building trust and rapport within the therapeutic space in order to feel comfortable sharing your personal information. We will also discuss goals and expectations so you feel confident and inspired to move forward to enhance your overall wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I pride myself with being very direct and involved to get working at the core from the very start with my clients; each receiving an individual treatment plan. I offer non-judgemental stance of patience and empathy for others, and have found that this sets the tone for a strong rapport and working relationship. The goal for each patient is to establish balance, promote self awareness and improve their overall wellbeing and livelihood.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I take a structured and goal oriented approach to help individuals make connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Collaboritively, we work towards identifying and challenging maladatpvie thought patterns and strengthen use of positive coping skills.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is incorporated into my practice through becoming aware of the present moment, nonjudgmental acceptance, and observing one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with gentle compassion. Resiliency and emotional regulation are built upon through practices such as guided meditation, mindful body movement, and body scans.
