I’m a Hispanic female, 42 years old. A mom to two special needs children. I have the experience and the knowledge on the concerns I feel comfortable treating. I’m open minded and I include myself in the therapy journey, I speak in the WE not the YOU and definitely not the I. I’m knowledgeable with many different cultures and styles of living. I’m LGBTQ affirming and a vast understanding of neurodivergence. I do my best work when I feel most comfortable and that includes the clothes I wear. I always stay true to my self.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
First is information gathering and assessing the therapy needs. It will also be a brief introduction of me and my therapy styles, expectations and going over informed consent, rules and guidelines.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I can relate, I have a wealth of experience in many different areas and most find me relateable, easy to talk, whimsical, and non-traditional.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My dream client is willing to accept the help that they are seeking. They will keep a consistent therapy schedule, will be open and honest about the concerns and are willing to maintain an open mind. The therapy will be client led with therapist guidance.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have been working with CBT for over 10 years, I find that it helps in changing toxic beliefs unwanted behaviors.
Eclectic
This allows to me to pick the right fitting method, for the specific given concern.
