(she/her)
Hi, I'm Julianne, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping adults navigate life's challenges with greater self-awareness and self-compassion. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and burnout. My goal is to provide a warm, affirming, and supportive space where you can better understand yourself, heal emotional wounds, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we are a good fit. I will invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to tell your entire story at once—we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where you can show up authentically. We will begin exploring important aspects of your life, relationships, strengths, and experiences while identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. I also welcome any questions you may have about therapy, my approach, or the therapeutic process. By the end of the session, my hope is that you feel heard, understood, and have a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, accepted, and understood. I believe that healing occurs when people can safely explore all parts of themselves without fear of judgment. My style is warm, compassionate, and direct when appropriate, balancing emotional support with meaningful reflection and growth. With over a decade of experience working in community mental health and healthcare settings, I have supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, humanistic, and transpersonal approaches to help clients gain deeper insight into their emotional experiences and patterns. I am particularly skilled at helping clients increase self-awareness, develop self-compassion, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their values so they can move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. Many feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in recurring emotional patterns and are seeking greater self-awareness, healing, and personal growth. I especially enjoy supporting women and LGBTQ+ individuals who want to build self-compassion, strengthen relationships, navigate life changes with confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change through collaborative and insight-oriented therapy.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals better understand the different parts of themselves that influence thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. We all have protective parts, wounded parts, and inner resources that developed in response to life experiences. In therapy, I help clients approach these parts with curiosity, compassion, and self-awareness rather than judgment. By strengthening connection to the core Self—a place of calm, confidence, and clarity—clients can heal emotional wounds, reduce internal conflict, and experience greater balance, resilience, and authenticity.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps individuals develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and reactions in the present moment. Rather than becoming overwhelmed by difficult experiences or operating on autopilot, clients learn to observe their internal experiences with curiosity and self-compassion. I integrate mindfulness practices to help clients manage anxiety, stress, depression, trauma responses, and emotional reactivity while cultivating a stronger sense of grounding, emotional regulation, and connection to themselves. Through mindfulness, clients can respond to life's challenges with greater intention, flexibility, and resilience.
Eclectic
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, goals, strengths, and life experiences rather than relying on a single therapeutic model. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, humanistic, and transpersonal approaches, I work collaboratively with clients to identify what will be most helpful for their growth and healing. This flexible approach allows us to address both immediate challenges and deeper underlying patterns, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, self-compassion, and more fulfilling relationships. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that feels personalized, meaningful, and aligned with each client's individual journey.
Psychoanalytic
Psychoanalytic therapy helps clients gain a deeper understanding of the emotional patterns, unconscious beliefs, and relationship experiences that influence their current lives. Together, we explore how past experiences may continue to shape present-day thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and connections with others. This insight-oriented approach can help uncover the root causes of recurring challenges, allowing for greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and meaningful change. By understanding yourself more fully, you can make choices that feel more intentional, authentic, and aligned with your values.
