Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who completed my master’s degree in clinical psychology at Loyola University Maryland. I have experience in working with a variety of diverse clients through individual therapy from young adulthood through older adulthood. I have experience in working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, life transitions and adjustments, spirituality, and more. I tend to allow the client to direct the session to what is most important to address at that moment via person-centered techniques. I also utilize various other therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), coping/stress management techniques, mindfulness skills, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, and more. I enjoy building connections with clients in order to create a warm, trusting, safe environment where others can feel comfortable discussing difficult matters. I also strive to help others enhance their abilities to make positive changes emotionally and in their thought processes to achieve more fulfillment and happiness in their lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Client's can expect to be warmly welcomed and eased into the therapy process. An intake will be completed with clients at their very first session to get to know them better, identify what brings them to therapy, and identify their therapy goals-all to be better able to serve them. This will help me develop a collaboratively created, individualized, treatment plan for each client to work towards achieving their therapy goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am very passionate about working with others struggling with various difficulties and experiences. I'm an empathetic therapist who enjoys aiding client's in achieving happiness and fulfillment in their lives. I have experience in working with a variety of diverse clients in different settings which has helped me enhance my understanding of everyone's unique needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use CBT to aid clients in identifying, challenging, and reframing any distressing thoughts or worries to enhance their ability to have more positive, helpful, thoughts.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I tend to allow the client to direct the session to what is most important to address at that moment but also direct it when needed. I aid clients in enhancing their abilities to make their own decisions that are best for their lives.
