Hi! I'm a licensed Clincical Psychologist based in Los Angeles, California. I received my doctorate degree from the California School of Professional Psychology and have been practicing for 20 years. I work with all ages of adults and adolescents. I also work with those that have ADHD.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I'll find out about your current challenges as well as take a detailed history so I have a context for your present situation. Based on your specific needs, we'll make a plan together. I like to work collaboratively with my clients - this is not a top-down relationship, though I do offer my expertise and time.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with young adults for years, I'm quite sensitive to the transitions that they face and the difficulties that can arise at those points. I have a broad range of experience from private practice, community mental health, in-patient psychiatric care, to suicide hotline work. If you have a sense of humor, we'll be a good match. Having lived in multiple countries as well as cities within the US, I am very comfortable and sensitive to diversity in ethnicity, age, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, socio-economic background and disability.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, but find connections with people of all ages. I'm particularly sensitive to those facing developmental challenges and strongly believe that most people have the ability to grow, if they're willing to put in the work.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

My early training was in the psychodynamic model, but I incorporate theory and practice from various therapies, depending on the client's needs. I also use elements of cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness approaches.
