I specialize in Maternal Mental Health, working with clients who may be experiencing some stress or self doubts as they navigate a new time in their lives or feelings of increased stress. I'm a supportive, listening ear as you start to unpack your current and past experiences and begin to make intentional choices to lead you on the path to a life you love. I especially enjoy supporting young women who are just starting out on their journey to figure out their career, relationships and what they want out of life.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
The intake session is really about getting a feel for what is bringing you to therapy and what you might want to gain (or let go of) through therapy. Part of the goal of the first session is determining if we are a good fit together. One of the most important factors in therapy being successful is your comfort level. If after the first session, we both feel that I could be a good fit for you, great. If not, that is okay too.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I specialize in helping people through times of transition or stress. This can be things such as navigating social relationships, managing parenting stressors, struggles with infertility, pregnancy and post-partum support, work stress, and managing symptoms of anxiety or depression. Clients tend to describe me as warm and easy to talk to.
