I am here to help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-awareness/self-esteem, family/relationship challenges, grief/loss, life transitions, and developing healthy boundaries and coping skills.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My hope is to foster an environment of safety and comfort for my clients to explore themselves and work on personal challenges causing distress. I believe my clients can attain their goals. I hope to offer the space, support and guidance towards their success.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I utilize various treatment methods depending on the individual. However, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative and irrational thoughts that often lead to negative behaviors and cause distress and Psychodynamic approaches that tend to focus on the individual examining inner conflicts to assist with decreasing stress and improving relationships.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My biggest strength is that I can view the individual separately from their challenges or how one may present as a result. I am open-minded and able to think outside of the box. I believe that each of us has value and purpose and it is never too late to learn about oneself.
