Hi there! My name is Casey Briglia and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA, providing remote counseling services to teens, young adults, and caregivers. I support clients in feeling powerful in their own lives by elevating choice and control. So much of our own worlds are riddled with unknowns and uncertainties; I support clients in managing these anxieties one step at a time and by understanding the impact that our choices have on our lives and minds. I take a positive and strength-based approach to therapeutic relationships so that together we can find the right tools that fit your needs and your comfort level. I will meet you with unconditional positive regard and an empathetic heart, so that I may support you in feeling empowered and in control of your own experience.
In our first session together, we will take some time to get to know one another. This will be a great opportunity for you to share any questions or concerns that you may have about the therapy process and/ or specifically about my practice and experience. During the first session, we will review the intake questions (along with some applicable others) together so that we can think about where we can go moving forward.
I use a variety of modalities and techniques in sessions including Choice Theory, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and the Personal Centered Approach. The most important tool that I will utilize in our sessions is our therapeutic relationship. These are courageous conversations and I will hold you and your experiences only with positive regard.
My biggest strength is fostering positive therapeutic relationships with clear boundaries and clear expectations. I empathize with my clients and seek to understand more about how their experiences uniquely impact their life. I have success in supporting clients in managing anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence by seeking to understand them as a person first.
