I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in San Diego, California, providing Telehealth therapy to adults across the state of California. I received my masters from Santa Clara University and have been practicing therapy for 7 years. My clinical background is rooted in community mental health, where I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges—including anxiety, depression, addiction, mood disorders, and trauma.
Our first session will be centered on building an initial connection and creating a foundation for our work together. This time is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. I will invite you to share what brings you to therapy, including any current challenges, concerns, or goals you may have. We’ll explore what you’re hoping to accomplish through therapy and begin to identify what support might look like for you moving forward. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions about the therapeutic process and for us to discuss how we might work together most effectively. I aim to create a safe environment where you feel heard and understood, and where your unique needs and experiences are respected. By the end of our first meeting, we’ll have a clearer picture of how therapy can support your personal growth, healing, or change.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist lies in my personable and conversational style, which helps create a relaxed and approachable atmosphere in our sessions. I believe that meaningful therapeutic work begins with a genuine human connection, and I strive to build that by showing up authentically and with empathy. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely and feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and support your growth at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply seeking a space to reflect and gain clarity, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and care.
The clients I am best positioned to serve are those who may be experiencing a life transition, whether it’s related to a career shift, relationship changes, or a new phase in their personal life. This client may be seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world, while also looking to build or restore their self-esteem and image. They might feel uncertain or stuck, and are eager to explore ways to gain clarity and confidence in both their personal and professional lives.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, skills-based approach I use to help clients manage overwhelming emotions, navigate relationships, and cope with distress in healthier ways. I often integrate Mindfulness exercises to help clients stay present during moments of overwhelm, such as breath awareness or observing thoughts without judgment. I also help clients apply DBT skills to establish healthy boundaries and express their needs with clarity and confidence.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. In sessions with clients struggling with low self-esteem or harsh self-criticism, I help them reframe their inner dialogue by connecting thoughts to emotions and behaviors, and then practicing more affirming self-talk grounded in their values and strengths.
I use Person-centered therapy to create a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and accepting space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Through empathic listening and reflective dialogue, I help clients gain clarity on their own thoughts, values, and emotional experiences. I don’t impose solutions—instead, I support clients in discovering their own insights and inner wisdom. I empower clients to lead the pace and direction of therapy, reinforcing their autonomy and capacity for self-guided change.
