I believe my role is to help you find strength and solutions by creating a safe, accepting environment where we work together to explore problems, identify skills, and gain new insight. Together, we work to restore balance in your life and gain personal acceptance. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 14+ years of experience working in the mental health field. I enjoy helping individuals make the positive changes they desire in their life. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, family discord, adjustment issues, mood disorders, etc. My therapeutic orientation is eclectic and consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will have an open conversation regarding therapy and discuss challenges or goals you would like to work on in sessions. This will help me create a treatment plan for us to work on in follow up sessions as well as build a therapeutic rapport.

As a provider I strive to provide a safe and open therapeutic environment for my clients to work through obstacles they might be facing in their life. I provide support and empathetic listening as we navigate sessions together and develop effective coping strategies.
