I have been a licensed therapist for over 20 years. I work with children, teens, families, and adults dealing with anxiety, stress, ADD/ADHD, school issues, and family conflict. I work collaboratively with you to ensure that we are reaching your goals and I am here with you along the way. Reach out for your free 15 minute consultation when you're ready to embark on this journey together! I look forward to talking with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with introductions and getting to know you a bit! We will then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working in and with the schools for many years, I have a lot of experience in helping and supporting the child, parents, and school. I listen well and am able to figure out what the needs are when talking with the child and parents. We build on strengths, find the areas of growth, and if needed, work with the school to help with support. I look forward to helping you on this journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use the CBT model to build awareness on how our thoughts and feelings lead to our behaviors. Having this knowledge along with grace and self compassion go a long way in the healing journey.

Humanistic

We are all human - Meeting my clients where they are, and showing up for my clients in a genuine way, and giving them the space to do the same, leads to greater healing and awareness.

Eclectic

I utilize many different approaches with my clients. Depending on the needs, I work collaboratively with them in order to meet those needs. This of course can shift as we go, and that is ok and expected - it’s part of the journey.

Family Therapy

Working with families is such a joy. Making sure everyone feels heard and supported is what I do. This can be a delicate balance, but with a caring and supportive space, it is a wonderful journey in regaining and/or finding homeostasis.
