Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio. I have been licensed and practicing for 24 years. My professional experience is quite varied. I have worked in medical settings, in a college counseling center, private practice, overseas with new US families arriving in country, and school. I believe that my clients have the answers in them on how to improve their lives. My job is to help them uncover those answers and live to their fullest best life.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, we will get to know one another and talk about what your expectations are for counseling. It is important to me to know what brought you to therapy and what you hope to accomplish with therapy. We will also go over confidentiality. It is important for my clients both young and older know what to expect from me with confidentiality.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Having been a LISW for 24 years, I have had many different experiences with many different people (age, diagnoses, issues, races, religions, genders, socioeconomic status). Helping people experience their best life is my passion. I am not afraid to learn new or try new things to help a client reach their potential. Each of my clients are individuals with their own needs, goals, life experiences and issues. My approach to each of my clients is as unique as they are.
