Thank you for taking the first step of courage and making yourself a priority today. Opening yourself up and being vulnerable can be a tremendous step to your healing process. As Brene Brown says, “Vulnerability is not winning or losing, it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” You are showing up for yourself today! Although the first steps can be overwhelming, I can walk with you and help guide you on the journey of healing and peace. I will always provide a safe space of acceptance and non-judgement for you to share your emotional pain, grow to love and be kind to yourself, and find the peace you deserve to heal. Remember that you are worthy and deserving of being free of the emotional pain you are experiencing. Be kind to yourself. **If you are viewing my profile for your child (3-17 years of age), I provide a calming and accepting space to assist with regulating your child's emotions. If your child is experiencing symptoms of anxiety, ADHD or difficulty focusing due to inattention or hyperactivity, or maybe your child is lacking motivation and seems more irritable and angrier than usual, I will teach your child the tools and strategies they need to cope with their challenges. Together, we can help your child feel happy again. Please view my website at worthytherapyservices.org

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is to ensure that your emotional and mental health needs are being met. In every session you can expect unconditional kindness and acceptance. You and I will work together to help you recognize the strengths you have within yourself. You will feel empowered, centered, and gain a better understanding of your triggers and how to cope with them. I hope to help you walk through your healing journey so that you feel less alone and gain the tools you need to be the best version of yourself.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I take a client centered approach; this means that you and I will work together to find evidence based techniques and treatments that work for you and meet your individual needs. Some of the treatment modalities I will introduce you to are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychological education, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma-informed techniques, Trust Based Relational Intervention, parenting skills, coping skills, emotion regulation and more.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have dedicated the past ten years to helping others feel heard, seen, and heal from their emotional pain, specifically through past trauma, including childhood and adulthood abuse. Because I understand ADHD, Autism, childhood anxiety and depression, I am also able to assist children/adolescents and parents with gaining the tools necessary to succeed in school and in life. I will see you or your child as a person with strength and courage, not as a symptom or number. Because I do approach every person with acceptance and non-judgment, we are able to dig deeper and get closer to healing, peace, and self-acceptance.
