Life, relationships, and work can often feel overwhelming. I am a holistic psychotherapist. I can help you sort through your thoughts, feelings, difficult sensations, relationships, energy levels, and existential questions. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I help clients heal from their past, function in the here and now, and tackle their goals. I do that by listening attentively, asking questions, helping clients find options, and regaining access to their true Self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session I ask basic questions about what you would like to work on and about different areas of life to get a picture of who you are. You get to answer what you feel comfortable with. And you donĀ“t have to answer everything at once.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My combination of tools, experience, creativity, and genuine care for clients not just heal but also thrive are strengths that continue to evolve and expand over time.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I used tools from CBT as needed or when clients were interested in them. An example of a tool I use often is Socratic Questions, which fit my style well. Socratic questions are questions that help clarify and organize the mind, they support understanding yourself and what you are dealing with.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I am bilingual, English and Spanish. I have experience working with bicultural clients. It is important to me to build a space where cultural matters are discussed in therapy because culture is a powerful context that influences behavior and identity.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

As a person- or client-centered psychotherapist, I will regard you as a whole individual in a positive light. And I am also committed to be empathetic and truthful with you.

Experiential Therapy

Internal Family systems is a type of experience-based and an Evidence-Based Treatment. I am an IFS-informed psychotherapist. This means I use parts-work to help you find and connect with your true self, which improves your relationship with yourself and others.
