Hi, I am Kelli and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I see clients in person in central Austin as well as via telehealth. I will create a space alongside you where you can invest in yourself and your wellbeing. You deserve to live a meaningful life that brings you satisfaction and joy, and I will bring clinical tools, a warm caring and sometimes humorous perspective to help walk alongside you as you formulate your path. My style is warm, relational, but also can be direct and gently challenging to foster traction and insight for change, so you can move beyond where you are at and into what you want and deserve.
You can walk out of our session together feeling heard, understood, and supported. I want to understand your world, so that we can create a treatment plan that moves you into a place of peace and joy as you navigate a meaningful life.
My greatest strength is my consistency, my ability to balance warmth and kindness with the gentle challenge that facilitates change, as well as my flexibility. I want therapy to be a tool for investing in yourself that is sustainable for your life.
I help individuals who are in a relationship or are seeking a relationship but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves. Weather you are navigating conflict, questioning the future of your relationship, or feeling like you have lost your sense of self along the way, I offer a space to sort through the confusion and reconnect with your worth. I also help indiviudals who experienced trauma, any kind of trauma that has left you dealing with the aftermath and showing up in areas of your life that you wish it didn't. Let's clear the distress and restore peace. Finally, I work with all creative souls. Let's expand traditional talk therapy into creative expression, art, play, for teens all the way to adults. Sometimes language is hard and using an outlet for expression better captures the feelings and helps shift around the parts that we can't quite articulate.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help shift how we think about our lives in order to reduce anxiety and depression. This allows us to be freed from unhelpful thinking that keeps us hooked into the same negative cycles.
I use EMDR to reduce distress around trauma and to heal ourselves so that we can experience peace in the present.
I use Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help us align ourselves with our values, so that we can live meaningful and productive lives that we enjoy.
