My therapeutic approach is holistic in nature as it encompasses a full body aspect. Examining your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual state. This approach explores root issues and allows healing from the inside out. I seek to empower my clients to find their voice and inner strength that may have been squelched by past abuse and trauma. I have experience with several mental health issues, and I am deeply passionate about helping my clients become emotionally and relationally whole whether it be individually, maritally or in their families. My approach is to adjust the therapy to fit the client.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Hope. We will discuss your needs, and goals. We will explore together what is required for you to meet your goals. You will feel inspired, regain some hope and feel that bit of relief that finally.... there is support and you begin to believe you can do this!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I utilize a lot of feedback, I listen intently for the root reason, and ask questions. I use humor when necessary....Humor is beautiful and such a nice method to calm the atmosphere and feel more comfortable. I feel I am relatable. I have a deep passion to see people live their best life, to be their best self, I will be straight with you on what those steps looks like and encourage you to dig your heels in, we are doing some good healing!

My treatment methods

Psychoeducation

I utilize several modalities for therapy. Reality therapy is profoundly empowering and effective. Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral are also wonderful modalities, among many more. I seek for the root of the issue, proper healing takes place when the root is addressed. Understanding the brain's dynamic abilities, this also entails the hippocampus functions and processing traumas appropriately. Looking at both Eastern and Western remedies contributes to whole body healing.

Attachment-based

This modality is exceptional for understanding how we attach and what/how that contributes to our relationships. John Bowlby founded, researched this subject, and has expanded its teaching over the decades, becoming increasing root driven to our mental health aspects.

Christian Counseling

I am a faith based therapist. I do not list myself directly as a Christian Counselor, but I am a counselor who is Biblically Christian based in my faith.
