It’s hard to be vulnerable with someone you do not know and start that journey toward healing. I use a trauma informed approach to help my client feel as comfortable and safe as they can in my virtual space. I believe that establishing safety is an important aspect to build relationships with my clients. I genuinely want to hear my client’s stories to be able to get to the root cause of what is causing yuck in my clients Nervous systems.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I would like to take the time to get to know you and your current challenges. I believe that establishing safety in the relationship is important and will take steps to establish safety with a client because it is so hard to be vulnerable.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals with chronic pain and trauma over the past few years I have learns to collaborate with clients with tools that work best for them and am able to identify the root cause of anxiety, depression, and trauma and enjoy helping clients help befriend their nervous system.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I used a multi-faceted therapeutic approach that involves somatic practices, EMDR, internal family systems, and pain reprocessing therapy. I believe we come to therapy to be a better parent to ourselves.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR is an evidenced based treatment modality that uses bilateral stimulation to help get the yuck unstuck from from your nervous system. I collaborate with my clients during each session in a trauma informed way to identify activating events from the past, present, or future to help relieve their nervous system from anxiety, depression, or trauma that still might be stuck in their nervous systems.
