Hi, I’m Chardé. I am currently licensed in Texas, with 6 years of professional experience. I have experience helping clients process trauma, manage anxiety, work through relationship issues, increase confidence, and decrease depressive symptoms. I strongly believe that you are the expert of your story, and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Your first session will ease nervousness as we get to know each other. My approach is person-centered, warm, and nonjudgmental. As we complete your intake, you have the opportunity to express your concerns, ask questions and simply have someone listen to you, enabling you to focus on your life goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Processing trauma, managing anxiety, and decreasing depressive symptoms are my areas of expertise, in addition to anger management and increasing self esteem. I love working with individuals who are seeking a better understanding of themselves and wanting to improve their outlook on life. Being able to interact with others, set healthy boundaries and communicate our feelings is extremely important in maintaining our mental health. This is a skill I can help you to hone. *****DISCLAIMER***** I DO NOT provide paperwork for comfort and service animals. I DO NOT provide paperwork for FMLA, disability, leaves of absence, and court cases.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Examples of CBT techniques might include the following: Exposing yourself to situations that cause anxiety, like going into a crowded public space. Journaling about your thoughts throughout the day and recording your feelings about your thoughts.

Trauma-Focused CBT

TFCBT helps clients learn skills to cope with trauma, face and resolve trauma and related concerns, as well as effectively integrate their traumatic experiences and progress through life in a safe and positive manner. Clients are guided through three phases of the model to meet each of these goals.

Psychoeducation

The basic aim is to provide the client and families knowledge about various facets of the diagnosis and its treatment so that we can work together for a better overall outcome.

Strength-Based

The strengths-based approach is predicated on the assumption that each individual has a unique set of goals and possesses internal strengths and external resources that can help them achieve these goals.
