What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will be mostly listened. My goal for the first session is to listen and making sure I understand why the client is here. I want to establish and build rapport and trust so as to create a safe space for client to share their stories. This will help the clients to know whether I am the right therapist for them.
