LCSW, 10 years of experience
Hello! I am an LCSW who has been practicing in the field for over a decade. I primarily work with children, adolescents and young adults but my space is open for anyone! I specialize in bringing an empowered and person- centered approach to my work because I believe true healing comes from us working together. Some of my passions include empowerment of minority communities, trauma-informed care, self-advocacy and connecting my clients to other resources and information to serve them in all areas of life. I absolutely love what I do and aim to be transparent, honest, and to make therapy feel like a comfortable and welcoming experience (not a doctor's appointment!) I believe in humanizing the challenges we all go through, and I'm honored to be part of other's healing journey.
My first session is typically aimed at introducing myself so you know who I am (to make the space more comfortable). I will review our mutual expectations, confidentiality and then give you the space to tell me what you'd like from me. It should feel more like a conversation than an interview, to make sure we're a good fit for one another.
I have been told that my greatest strengths are being able to connect with others and make them feel at home (even when they did not want therapy), my flexibility and adaptability, making therapy "fun" when possible and truly using a person-centered, individualized treatment approach.
I am open to client's of all ages, backgrounds, identities, etc. Though I am most experienced in working with neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism), the LGBTQ+ community, the BIPOC community, children and families, pre-teens, teens, young adults and women.
I frequently use the latest research to implement Attachment Theory into my work with individuals and families. Understanding one's Attachment Style is crucial to improving relationships, communication and overall quality of life.
The core of my practice is providing individualized care that recognizes, honors, and incorporates the unique cultural experiences and challenges that impact us all.
With my background in pre-med biology and my education as a therapist, I fully belive in prioritizing both the mind and body in my practice through holistic intervention methods.
The majority of my experience is in working with children and families. For over a decade I have worked with children and their families on navigating many of life's challenges, while improving their relationships along the way.
One of my specialties has been supporting children and adults with working through trauma. I incorporate trauma-informed practices into all of my work to make my practice a safe space for all.

I appreciate Jasmin's ability to be authentic and focus on the human aspect of the therapist/client relationship. She is a great active listener and she was willing to share her own stories when appropriate., which helped to build trust during the session. Within the first session, I learned something new and was provided with multiple resources outside of therapy that were applicable to my situation.

If I had the option to choose all I most certainly would! She's a great human being that takes the time to understand and break down what I'm going through while still adding little bits of humor overall a great therapist and great person!

Shares similar experiences, helping me feel seen and heard. Provides resources and challenges for me to better myself. Creates a guilt free environment where I feel welcomed and appreciated. Logical dissections of scenarios, aiding me to see the whole picture and helping me understand why I might be feeling a certain way. Makes me feel like I'm talking to a friend rather than a clinician? Professional without being overly formal.
