(she/her)
I'm an EMDR therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-worth challenges, grief, life transitions, and the lasting impact of childhood trauma. I specialize in helping clients move beyond old patterns, heal unresolved wounds, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach combines Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with a focus on personal narrative, helping clients process painful experiences and rewrite the stories they've carried about themselves. I help clients deepen their self-awareness, develop greater emotional resilience, and create lives that feel more authentic and aligned. Known for my direct, honest, and compassionate style, I work best with clients who are ready to actively engage in the therapeutic process. I believe meaningful growth often requires courage, accountability, and a willingness to examine uncomfortable truths. In addition to EMDR therapy, I am also I'm deeply interested in spirituality and the connection between emotional, energetic, and personal growth. My work is influenced by my experience as a Reiki practitioner and tarot reader, and I welcome clients who wish to explore spirituality, intuition, energy work, or questions of meaning as part of their healing journey.
The first session is all about gathering information on your health history, establish an understanding on what you would like to get out of therapy, what is expected during sessions, and my role as a therapist. It is an opportunity to not only learn about the presenting stressors, but to also determine if we think we will be a good fit to work together. I do my best to make all sessions as comfortable and organic as possible. At the end of the day, it's a conversation. Feel free to bring a cup of your favorite coffee or tea along!
I can be blunt, challenging, and direct. My role isn't to tell you what to do or to analyze you—it's to guide you through your emotional process, help you make sense of your experiences, and notice the patterns and meanings you create along the way. Coming from a single-parent, multi-racial background, I am able to connect with my clients on unique challenges related to sense of identity, concepts of resilience, challenges with self-expression, and differentiation. I am most energized by clients who are willing to look inward with honesty and courage. These are individuals who are ready to challenge limiting beliefs, explore the stories they tell themselves, and reconnect with parts of themselves that have been neglected, silenced, or wounded. I enjoy working with clients who appreciate a direct yet compassionate therapeutic relationship and who are interested in deep, transformative work rather than quick fixes. Clients who are curious about intuition, spirituality, personal meaning, or their own inner wisdom often find that my approach resonates with them.

Integrative
I have been using an integrative style for over 5 years. I use a combination of evidenced-based techniques--including mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and narrative therapy-- to offer a flexible, personalized approach to meet your unique goals in a comprehensive, holistic way.
EMDR
I help clients reprocess traumatic memories using bilateral stimulation-like eye movements or tapping-to reduce emotional distress, promote healing, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and improve emotional regulation.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I am a champion of self-awareness and use mindfulness interventions in therapy sessions to help you get to know yourself on a deeper level, induce relaxation, and ground in the present moment.
