Hi, I’m Taylor! Do you struggle with balancing the responsibilities in your life? Do you have trouble with completing daily tasks and managing your relationships? Are you feeling overwhelmed day to day? Life can be difficult to manage. I love helping anyone who is trying to balance parenthood and postpartum life, but enjoy working with anyone experiencing life transitions. I mix cognitive strategies with solution-focused techniques to promote healthy coping skills, challenge negative thoughts and create space for change to make life just a little more manageable. Whether you are facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges or problems with executive functioning (things like focus, task initiation, prioritization, and motivation), I can help guide you to finding ways to tackle your challenges. I would love to team up and help you become your best self!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we focus on reviewing the intake paperwork that you are asked to complete prior to meeting for the first time. We use our first meeting to get to know one another and address your expectations for therapy. We finish with establishing goals your goals for treatment so I can best serve you as a support in your journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have ample experience working with both men and women who suspect or have been diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety. I love to work with those who are new or established parents as well as those who may be experiencing communication challenges with those around them.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, we work together to uncover thought patterns that are distorted, meaning that they do not serve you as a client and often contribute to negative feelings and behavior patterns. We all have distorted thoughts and through the identifications of patterns, I teach you methods of developing insight into when they occur in the moment and find ways to challenge and reframe them to achieve your goals in therapy.

Strength-Based

Strengths-based therapy techniques focus on identifying strengths that you bring to the table from the first day you start engaging in services. We use these strengths and examples of successes that you have experienced in the past to tailor interventions

Interpersonal

Interpersonal therapy allows us to examine patterns of thoughts and behaviors related to your social relationships. Positive interactions and relationships with others serve as major factors in improving an individual's mental health. We focus on communication and conflict resolution skills to build foundations and strengthen existing interpersonal connections.
