About me

Hi there! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and I love helping young adults who are dealing with anxiety and depression. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming space where you can explore your challenges, build resilience, and discover practical tools for your emotional well-being. You're not alone, and together we can work towards your goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect av friendly atmosphere where we can get to know each other and start building trust. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, expectations, goals, and any challenges you're currently facing. I’ll ask some questions about your background and experiences to help me understand your unique story better. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and safe to explore their emotions. My calm presence helps individuals feel at ease, even with difficult topics. I understand the unique challenges they face and use evidence-based approaches to encourage resilience and practical coping strategies.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adults who might feel a bit overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or life changes and are looking for support in managing their emotions and finding their way. My priority is to provide a friendly, nonjudgmental space where they can gain insights, build coping skills, and feel truly heard and understood.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in many settings, including one-on-one therapy for anxiety and depression, group sessions on changing thoughts, and behavioral strategies for clients with mood disorders. I use CBT because it helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns. It also helps them replace these thoughts with healthier ones. CBT helps prioritize patient’s needs by learning skills, setting goals and practice skills outside of sessions, which gives them a sense of ownership in their progress. In my practice, I start with a detailed assessment to find the client’s specific negative thoughts and behaviors. I like to help clients build confidence by using graded exposure and role-playing exercises to reduce avoidance.
