Hi, i am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kentucky. I received my Master's of Social Work degree from the University of Louisville. I have been practicing for 16 years. I help people identify barriers in thinking and obstacles in their lives that keep them from thriving and then help them build self efficacy and solutions to their problems.
At our first session we will discuss challenges and formulate goals together to measure progress.
As a provider who enjoys working with people to find a common goal, I am able to increase therapeutic alliance and build rapport with my clients. It is important that my clients feel seen and heard and looking forward to their next session. I enjoy building motivation in my clients.
I love working with clients who are motivated to change but not sure where to start. I like helping them increase their skills and encouraging self growth to succeed.
For those seeking a deeper spiritual understanding of how body, mind, and soul all interact together. Based on the level of comfort of client and willingness to explore, we can utilize biblical principles and/or prayer if client chooses.
I have been using this method for 16 years helping clients explore their thought patterns and how this effects their emotions as well as behaviors. Clients will become less depressed and anxious once learning how to manage their thoughts.
I have used this technique for 16 years helping clients understand their own ambivalence to change, clients have the ability to change, and increasing their self efficacy.
