My goal is for each person I work with to feel seen and accepted as they are, and over time to be able to view themselves through a compassionate lens that acknowledges both strengths and challenges. I approach therapy as both a learning and a healing experience. I work to help people identify and understand their values, beliefs, and behavioral and relational patterns, so that they can assess whether these continue to be a good fit for them. I also help individuals to process past experiences and to understand the impact these experiences had at the time, as well as the influence of these experiences in shaping the way they view themselves. I have been a psychotherapist for over 20 years, and during this time have worked primarily with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. I also have experience with individuals who identify as neurodivergent and people who have experienced trauma, as well as experience working with depression, anxiety, identity formation, and parenting issues. I work with adults of all ages and with adolescents. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MSW from Temple University and a BA from Binghamton University.
