LCSW, 20 years of experience
Welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in North Carolina, with a Master’s from Rutgers and telehealth registration in South Carolina (https://www.llr.sc.gov/sw/behavioral_telehealth.asp). For over 20 years, I’ve helped adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges with compassion and clarity. My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy to create personalized strategies that build resilience and foster lasting change. I believe in your capacity for growth and will work with you to uncover strengths, clarify goals, and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life. If you’re ready to explore new possibilities and take charge of your well-being, I invite you to reach out.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make our first session comfortable, welcoming, and meaningful. This is your space to share what brought you here, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from therapy whether that’s relief from anxiety or depression, navigating life transitions, or building confidence and clarity. You don’t need to have everything figured out. I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you explore your goals both immediate and long-term. Together, we’ll begin crafting a personalized approach that fits your life and values, drawing on your strengths and building practical strategies for lasting change.
With over 20 years of experience, I help clients build lasting resilience and manage symptoms with practical, evidence-based strategies. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, tailored to your unique background, strengths, and goals. I integrate Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, and Mindfulness to support growth beyond symptom relief—fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, and long-term well-being. Therapy with me is about empowerment: gaining tools to navigate challenges independently and make choices aligned with your values. Above all, I offer a safe, compassionate space where your story is honored, and your healing journey is supported with respect and empathy.
You may feel overwhelmed by cultural expectations, family roles, or the pressure of navigating multiple identities whether as a child of immigrants, a professional, or a caregiver. These layers can leave you feeling fragmented, anxious, or disconnected from your true self. You’re seeking more than symptom relief, you want to feel grounded, confident, and aligned with your values. You’re ready to explore your story in a space that honors your heritage and complexity and to work with someone who understands the nuances you carry. Together, we’ll untangle what no longer serves you and build a path toward healing, resilience, and authentic connection one meaningful step at a time.
CBT is a widely researched and effective approach that focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. I often integrate CBT techniques to help clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thoughts, develop coping skills, and make positive changes in their lives.
ACT is a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy that focuses on helping individuals accept their thoughts and feelings, commit to values-driven actions, and create a meaningful life. I assist clients to live in accordance with their identified values and to find fulfillment, despite the inevitable struggles and setbacks thereby building psychological flexibility and resilience.
DBT is a cognitive-behavioral approach widely used for various issues involving emotion regulation and interpersonal relationships. I assist clients in achieving a balance of acceptance and change, aiming to help develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships creating meaningful change in their lives.
Motivational interviewing is a client-centered approach that aims to elicit and strengthen intrinsic motivation for change. I utilize motivational interviewing techniques to support clients in exploring ambivalence, identifying values and goals, and making sustainable behavior changes.
Mindfulness practices, derived from Eastern traditions, are increasingly recognized for their therapeutic benefits in promoting self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress reduction. I incorporate mindfulness techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, and body scanning to help clients cultivate present-moment awareness and develop a greater sense of calm and resilience.

Super easy to talk to, and listened to what I had to say. Made me feel comfortable about the therapy process.
