About me

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York. I received my Masters from the University at Albany (SUNY) and have been practicing for 8 years. I work with adults (18+) on an individual basis who are dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment, and stress-related disorders. I like to work with the whole person utilizing my background in Medical Social Work to address Medical Comorbidities that impact a person's emotional and mental well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with adults for the past 9 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults (18+) dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment, and stress-related disorders, and I’m here to help. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their next steps in life. My approach is focused on creating a supportive, judgment-free space where you can openly explore your feelings and develop tools to better manage symptoms. My goal is to empower you to improve your overall well-being and resilience when faced with life’s stressors.

When utilizing a cognitive processing approach, I walk through present and passed experiences with my client to breakdown the thought process and actions taken, which speak to potential patterns of behavior and suggest adjustments meanwhile, providing psychoeducation to the implications of behavior. The goal was cognitive processing therapy is to help the client understand some of the automatic responses or implications of behaviors that may be problematic within aspects of their life.
