Hi. My name is Jody Evans and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have been practicing for the past 10 years. I graduated from Pepperdine university top of my class. I help adults struggling with depression, anxiety and addictions to learn coping skills to manage these disorders. I can provide individual, couples or family therapy. I have experience working with individuals who are going through divorce or any life transition.
In our first session, I will collaborate with you to assess your current needs. I will discuss your goals for therapy. Them we will come up with a treatment plan.
I feel that I am a directive therapist and am genuine and compassionate. I understand the nuances of life and will not judge you no matter what is going on in your life. I have over 10 years experience as a therapist.
I love working with adults over the age of 25. I have a strong background in treating any type of addiction be it substance based or behavioral based. I am oriented to the abstinence model. I have a law background so I am very knowledgeable to help clients who are going through a divorce.
