Hi and welcome! I am currently licensed in the states of California, Connecticut, and Massachusetts (LPCC, LPC, LMHC, respectively). I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford and have been practicing since 2001 in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Since 2004, I have had a private practice, during which I have had the pleasure of working with many individuals from all different backgrounds.
In our first session together, I will gather some background information from you, explore what led you to seek therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from your therapy sessions.
Having worked with a wide-array of individuals over the years, I feel that I can provide an environment in which my clients can feel comfortable, validated, and not judged.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used evidence-based treatment approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT) is an approach that integrates principles of mindfulness into therapeutic practice to help individuals manage and reduce psychological distress.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented therapeutic approach that emphasizes solutions rather than problems. I utilize client strengths in order to determine therapeutic goals.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a specialized form of cognitive behavioral therapy designed to help individuals overcome the effects of traumatic experiences.
