From the first session to your last, I come along side you to work through life issues, looking for healthy coping strategies, self worth, acceptance, anger management, and some many other ways to improve the quality of your life journey. I have lived through much of what I see in clients; neglect, abandonment, abuse of all types, low self worth/self care, and very poor coping skills. However, through therapy and a personal relationship with my Savior I have come a long way in my own personal journey to healing. I received my Masters from Liberty University and am now licensed in the state of NC as a LCMHC.
In our first session building rapport is extremely important. I want you to feel comfortable in this environment without pressure as we move through the life issues that brought you to therapy to begin with.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to be yourself. We go at your pace and I come along side you in your journey to a healthier more fulfilling life.
I believe everyone has experienced some type of trauma in their lifetime; whether small or large it often affects your beliefs about yourself. Beliefs lead to thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that make up your life.
Understanding why we behave a certain way helps us make lasting changes.
