Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? As a therapist I enjoy helping individuals explore past relationship patterns, establish healthy boundaries, grow in self-esteem, and learn to relate to others differently. My goal is for every individual I have to eventually end counseling with a renewed sense of confidence. I bring humor, warmth and challenge to the counseling room.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I enjoy educating myself on new approaches and expanding my area of expertise so I am always taking new trainings and courses however at this time my main strength is trauma informed focus and self empowering approaches to find your voice and exploring your strengths.
I believe we can always learn new ways to cope and process. I use psychoeducation when appropriate
