Are you ready to transition into a new, healthier phase of your life and in need of someone to help you along your journey? I truly enjoy helping people increase self-awareness, discover patterns, and make positive life changes both big and small. I have provided counseling services for over 6 years, and I have worked with children and adolescents in several capacities for over 10 years. More importantly, I have been human my entire life, and I know how hard life can get - and how amazing it can be when we find the courage to ask for help. In my practice, I have always viewed my clients as the experts on their own lives, and I am simply there to use my training and knowledge to help facilitate their journey to healing. My main goals are always to learn from, teach, and collaborate with you to help you achieve the life you want.
Just like any relationship, it takes time to get to know each other and build trust. In our first session, you will not be expected tell me all of your secrets and life story - unless you want to! I will spend time learning about you, absorbing any important information you'd like me to know, and making sure you are as comfortable with my therapeutic process as possible. The most important thing is that you feel I am a good fit for you, and if not, I can help you find someone who is.
I am a huge proponent of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I truly believe that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected and impact each other, and that learning to shift our perspective can be life-altering. I like to incorporate re-framing, mindfulness, and meaning-making/existentialism in my therapeutic practice as I walk with you on your path to a better life.
One of my biggest strengths is helping neurodivergent individuals navigate, cope, and feel happy with the lives they have created for themselves.
