What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, anticipate stepping into a virtual warm, safe space where we’ll openly discuss your needs, reasons for seeking therapy, and your expectations. I’ll conduct assessments to gather further insight into your background and therapy goals, all in a relaxed conversational manner. From there, we’ll work together to craft a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and aspirations.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I am easy to talk to, easy to comprehend my client's needs, also unique at providing the right tools with insight at the correct time. I am culturally sensitive with many years of lived experiences.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help you focus on things in your life you want to improve or change. Everything we do and say is connected through our thoughts, behavior, and feelings. If you have a problem one or the combination of these three is getting in the way. If you change your thoughts you can interrupt negative patterns and decrease disruptive behaviors. If you change one thing you will not be the same. Also if you change nothing things stay the same. What issue do you want need to address?

Christian Counseling

I incorporated faith-based methods into psychological counseling. this may include biblical explanations, integration, and Christian psychology. If you have a spiritual base together we can build on it.

Grief Therapy

It is never easy to lose a loved one. You may even grieve the loss of a person, relationship, children moving out (empty nest), employment, pet, loss of mobility and so many other issues. As your therapist, I assist you with talk therapy to address your feelings of grief and loss. Cognitive Behavioral therapy to help alter negative, destructive patterns of thinking
