Hello! I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) located in California. My goal is to help you become the best version of yourself. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space and help clients achieve their goals by fostering self-belief, self-compassion, and self-understanding.I utilize several different modalities because each person is unique; I spend a lot of time getting to know you so I can make sure I'm using the most effective approaches.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, expectations for therapy, and I'll answer any questions you have in hopes to help alleviate any fears or concerns. We will then explore the challenges you want to address, while also identifying your strengths and the tools that already work for you. Together, we’ll define your goals and begin to develop a personalized plan for us to work though in follow-up sessions.
My priority is being empathic, genuine, and having unconditional positive regard for you while collaborating as a team to achieve your therapeutic goal. I tailor each session to ensure your voice is heard and your goals are realized through day-to-day practices.
You are the professional in regard to your own life. In practicing Person-Centered therapy I offer a non-judgmental, unbiased, curious, warm, and compassionate space for you to work towards meeting your goals. One of the biggest advantages of Person-Centered therapy is its emphasis on empowerment and self-discovery. So, tell me what has worked and what hasn't, and we'll work together to find solutions.
Attachment style determines so much of how we relate to the world. I use Attachment-Based Therapy to help clients understand how their early relational experiences have shaped their emotional and relational patterns today. By learning the 'why' behind some of your behaviors and tendencies we can work together to help you reach your goals.
I help couples to improve on communication; interactions, problem solving, understanding needs in order to strengthen the relationship. In my couples counseling practice, I draw from a variety of proven methods and approaches. This includes evidence-based techniques, communication strategies, and interventions tailored to address the unique dynamics of each relationship.
