Hi, my name is Stephanie! Life is not something we experience in a cookie-cutter manner. If you are struggling through any form of loss, weather loss of a loved one, identity, or pet loss you don’t have to do it alone. Sitting with grief takes vulnerability, which is something we can discover and process together. Discovering your sense of self and identity, particularly during a transitional time in your life can trigger untapped emotions. This may include discovering layers of your self. Together, we can create a safe space to explore aspects of who you are. My background is in dance/movement therapy and I am open to incorporating creativity into sessions. I use a body-focused lens in my practice, which can lead to a more intimate connection with the self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then move towards the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe in the significance of validation. Validating you through your time of transition or grief is a role I am comfortable with. My early years as a therapist, I worked heavily with substance use, crisis support, grief and loss, and those searching for their identity. Through my years of practice, I continue to sit in the vulnerable places with my clients and help them recognize their abilities to sit there too.
