Reconnecting to yourself through journaling, meditation, movement and self exploration, Reconnecting to ourselves is the first step in building stronger relationships with others. Yes, communication matters in relationships but we must learn to tune into ourselves before we can attune to our partners. Therapy is a self discovery process. Learning about your emotions and what they are communicating to you reduces tension. Let’s work together to improve your sleep, reduce anxiety/irritability and improve your mood. I’ll teach you to replace negative self talk with self compassion.
My therapeutic approach is attachment based and trauma informed. Mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy is the method that works well with most of my clients. You will learn to observe your thoughts, accept your feelings and let go. Accepting yourself with compassion can bring radical change.
My biggest strengths is collaborating with clients to achieve their goals. My style is flexible and individualized. I provide a warm and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Laughter and finding joy is also important. Progress comes by being open and learning not to take life and ourselves too seriously.
