If you are ready to set some personal goals and engage in growth, I would love to work with you. I work to meet you where you are, identifying goals in our intake session so that we can choose an evidence based curriculum that best fits your needs. I have experience with and utilize substance curriculums, anger management, trauma focused, grief focused, mindfulness based as well as a curriculum focused on becoming more open.
In our first session I would love to hear your goals. You can expect to answer questions like "How do you see your life in 6 months... ideally, what is different?". We will also discuss treatment history and symptom history. Most importantly we will set evidence based, realistic goals that best serve you.
I work my hardest as a therapist to present with as little judgements and bias as humanly possible so that you can reflect and engage in a safe space ("in the nest", if you will). I also utilizing strength (and evidence) based interventions.
I utilize evidence based curriculums such as ACT (Acceptance and commitment therapy) for both couples and individuals.
I utilize evidence based curriculums such as CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) for individuals wanting to focus on or heal from past traumas.
I utilize evidence based curriculums such as DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) for individuals wanting to focus on increasing coping tools such as self soothing or strengthen their "people skills".
I utilize CBT in session to reframe thinking patterns that no longer serve you
