I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). During your initial session, we'll explore your reason for seeking out therapy and decide the most effective way to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll focus on the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to assist you in identifying and challenging those unhelpful thought patterns and learn practical self-help strategies.
DBT is especially helpful for those clients who have difficulty regulating their emotions. DBT can help you accept the reality of your life and behaviors, as well as to assist in learning to change your life, including unhelpful behaviors.
